Description

The population is aging with 60% of older adults showing measurable functional decline. This requires a proactive intervention strategy to identify risk factors and prevent premature mortality or long, drawn-out illness. We will explore a collection of the best tests and exams that specifically identify risk of mortality. This action-packed session will include numerous cases studies and structured lab sessions to perform and interpret these exams. You will learn how to incorporate exam findings into performance-based goals and design specific function-based interventions. Prepare to challenge standard assessment and treatment ideology as you learn to provide a broader scope of care for all patients regardless of age or diagnosis.
